Want to get involved with Duston Players? Here's a great opportunity for anyone interested, however old or young!
We're casting soon for our next pantomime, Robin Hood, and there's parts for all ages from children up, as well as roles backstage and "front of house" (helping out with raffles and refreshments and getting people seated, for example).
For anyone interested, here are some key dates:
There'll be an acting and singing audition on Tuesday the 22nd of July at 7:30pm, at the Hub in Eastfield Close, Duston (see here for directions).
Then there will be a dancing audition on Thursday the 24th of July at 7:30pm at the Hub.
Ideally anyone wanting to take part would need to attend both auditions, but if you can't make one (or either) and would still like to be considered, please get in touch (here) and we can make other arrangements.
We'll also be having a kids taster session on Tuesday the 19th Aug, 7:30pm on the stage at Duston Community Centre (directions for that location are also here).
Rehearsals will start in September and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with some Sunday afternoons too.
There will be a Technical rehearsal on Monday the 1st December and a Dress Rehearsal on Tuesday the 2nd, with performances from Wednesday the 3rd to Saturday the 6th December, including a matinee (afternoon) performance on the Saturday so make sure you are free for the whole of that week.
